A Parenting Theory

A smart article, already on par with what I believe for parenting. Okay, I over-praise him and am probably overly-permissive in some areas, but this is what I would strive for.

19 months going on 18 years of a successful child!

But also? I think this somewhat depends on a child, right? Jameson, so far, is very intent on doing things himself. I am pretty sure he was born with it. He didn’t want help learning to walk by holding on to our hands, and he doesn’t want us to brush his teeth, he’d rather do it himself. He only wants help on the stairs because he knows from experience that he can’t do it himself yet.

Or maybe it’s because we let him try?
